I was born in Laren, The Netherlands
I have a brother (Thijs), a half-brother (Egbert), two steph-brothers (Pim and Lex), a sister (Gitte) and two half-sisters (Gertje and Roosje)
Until my 4th year I``ve lived in Huizen, three houses from where I am living now
I went to elementary school at the Larense Montessori School
The first three years of my high school career were at the Goois Lyceum, the last three at Laar & Berg
In 1993 I started studying Economics in Amsterdam at the UvA, but in 1994 I moved to Rotterdam in order to study Business Administration at the Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam till 1999
In 1999 I lived in Dubai and Tel Aviv while working at Young & Rubicam
Late 1999 I started working for MVLG eBusiness Consultants, acquired by Lost Boys in May 2000
After working as a strategy consultant at Lost Boys for about 5 years I switched to Media Republic
While at Media Republic I have been working for more than 3 years on the development and launch of Eccky
As of the summer of 2007 I have been working at Hyves as their Manager Business Development & Partnerships
I live together with my girlfriend Nicole Kaskens
